Barcelona Airport Parking

Barcelona Airport Parking has more than 19 thousand parking spaces, of which about 11 thousand are in the terminal T1 and almost 9000 between terminal T2 and Corporate Aviation Terminal, spread between buildings and parking surface areas.

CAR PARK AT T1

In terminal T1 are located the Parking Building T1 and T1 Surface Parking. At the surface the spaces are very close to the terminal building, and the Parking Building T1 is connected with the terminal it by a walkway. If you know in advance your gate, the indicators and the parking signals will allow you to park very close.

CAR PARK AT T2

In terminal T2A are located the Car Park Building PA, currently closed for renovation, and the Car Park Building PC, which only operates ground floor.
The gateway connection of T2A and T2C with the parking buildings are closed, so access to teminal T2C should be done through the exterior.

Terminal T2 surface Car Park has parking spaces spread opposite the terminals T2A, T2B and T2C.

The Corporate Aviation Terminal has its own Corporate Aviation Terminal Car Park, located a few meters from the terminal T2C.

Outside the terminals

The Long-stay Car Park and VIP Parking are located further away from the terminal. These services include a free transfer of passengers to the terminals.

Parking alternatives

In order to find cheap parking when traveling and leave the car around during those days of travel, there are lot of companies offering some of the best value-for-money parking; "off-airport", or "off-site" car parks are located within a few kilometres of the airport buildings with free transfers.

 

Operation

 

To access the parking you need to collect a ticket which delivers the vending machine at the entrance of the building or the surface area. Obtain it by pressing the button on the machine. It is recommended to take the ticket with you because it can also be paid in the parking cashiers inside the terminals. Once payment is made collect the ticket validated, you will have 20 minutes to leave the park.

To leave the car park you must pay for your stay before with drawing your vehicle. There are numerous automatic payments machines. These are located in the terminal builing public areas, at the pedestrian entrances to the car parks and on the ground floor buidings.

Introduce the validated ticket in the machine located at each exit to exit the park.

All entrances and exits to parking areas guarded and have 24-hour security and user service.

RECOMENDATIONS

Lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables where they can be seen.

For security reasons and to ensure tha traffic moves smoothly, incorrectly parked vehicles will be removed and their owners
will have to pay the appropiate fine.

Do not leave the parking ticket in your vehicle, but keep it with you make a note of the number of the space in which you have parked.
