Do you know how to arrive by car?

Barcelona Airport parking has approximately 23.000 parking spaces, more than 12.000 are distributed between the new Terminal T1 and 11.900 in terminal T2 building (old terminals A, B and C).

PARKING AT T1

In T1 parking spaces are divided up among one surface car park beside the building and in two park buidings. Both buildings are connected to this terminal through a walkway.
If you know previously your boarding gate, the indicators and the parking signals will allow you to park very near it.

If you need to leave your vehicle parked during a long period, the airport has an long stay parking situated at two kilometers of the terminal and comunicated with T1 through a shuttle bus.

PARKING AT T2

The T2 has parking spaces outside the terminal -right in front of the terminal- and two parking buidings. These are connected through walkways to the terminal T2A and T2C.

To enter the car parks collect a ticket by pressing the button on the ticket dispenser located at each access point. Once in the car park drive slowly and don't park in unauthorized areas. To guarantee the safety and smooth traffic flow, a service of crane withdraws the vehicles parked improperly, and the offender will have to pay a fine.

All entrances and exits to parking areas guarded and have 24-hour security and user service.

To leave the car park you must pay for your stay before with drawing your vehicle. There are numerous automatic payments machines.
These are located in the terminal builing public areas, at the pedestrian entrances to the car parks, and on the ground floor buidings.

Once you have paid take the ticket validated by the machine, now you have 20 minutes to leave the car park. Introduce the ticket in the machine located at each exit.

The alternative

For medium or long stays there is a much economic parking, located just 1 km from the airport and are priced at almost half the parking of AENA, from 9,95 € / 24, and from the 8th day 5.45 € / 24h.

It is open 24/7/365, has valet parking, free shuttle act as both the T1 to T2, indoor parking with security monitored, hand car cleaning optional, and transfer times from T1 in 7 minutes and from the T2 in 5 minutes.

RECOMENDATIONS

Lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables where they can be seen.

For security reasons and to ensure tha traffic moves smoothly, incorrectly parked vehicles will be removed and their owners
will have to pay the appropiate fine.

Do not leave the parking ticket in your vehicle, but keep it with you make a note of the number of the space in which you have parked.
