The process of check-in indicates to the airline that the passengers has made the last step for their flight. Usually is made in person in the airport. The passenger must be at the counter with at least 3 hours before the flight. Once there, show your personal identification, your passport and ticket to the airline staff.

The 144 desks of this terminal are divided among level 3, level 1 and level 0. The counters are the numbers 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700.
On the ground are 0 counters for billing of tour operators, welcoming passengers of Lufthansa, British Airways, KLM and Air France passengers from cruise ships.
The 8 check-in counters from Barcelona-Madrid corridor, or air shuttle, are also located at the terminal T1 plant 1, in the North Dock area.
The T2A is closed temporarily for works of reforms in the building, so there is currently no departing flights.

On the ground floor of terminal T2 there are 106 counters, divided into halls known as Terminal B, Terminal Building Olympic and Intermodal.
Thus we find on the ground of Terminal B P0 counters B1-B43 appointed. In Terminal Olympic counters B44 to B71's appointed and the Intermodal Building B72 to B106 counters.
It is the door through which the passenger embarks on the plane. Normally it's printed in the boarding pass, but if is was unknow in that moment, at least shows the area or module in which it is located.
In T1 are the areas A, B, C, D and E. In the T2 modules are shipping M0, M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5.
Both terminals have security checks prior to these areas, and only prove the flight passengers with a boarding card can access the boarding modules.
