At Barcelona Airport you can now connect to internet from the comfort of your laptop, mobile phone or pda with wifi technology through KubiWireless, a private company that operates in the airport.
The products offered by the company KubiWireless are of two types:
A) linear products, The time contacted is always linear. Which means that you can connect and disconnect as many time as you wish during the period contracted, or
B) time reducer products, in which the purchased time can be spend in non-consecutive minutes.* Prices, taxes not included are:
- 45 minutes time reducer: 7.5 €
- 1 hour connection: 9 €
- flat fee 24 hours: 15 €
- flat fee 3 days (72 hours): 40 €
- flat fee 1 month (720 hours): 70 €
To enjoy this service go to a coverage area, enable your wireless connection of your laptop, mobile phone or pda, and select the wireless network with SSID kubi. If your computer does not have wireless technology, you can request connection kit at the HOSTPOT reception. They will offer information and technical assistance to connect to the internet from your own device.
How it works: when you open your browser and request any web page, display a welcome screen Internet provider that operates the airport. Since that time, must follow the instructions to recruit the desired service.
